Persistence Leads To Achievement

I spoke to a friend of mine yesterday and she was talking about one of her goals. She had been wanting to purchase a house for the past year, and a mortgage broker told her that it would be impossible to purchase her house because of something on her credit.

Since they told her that, she has basically given up and has settled on living in her apartment. I told her that if they really wanted to purchase the house, there is a way, it may not happen today, but if she gave up, chances are she will never purchase the house.

I remember when I purchased my first house I was 27 at the time. I had set my goal to purchase my first house at the age of 25. It took me two years to accomplish my goal. When I finally did accomplish it though it felt awesome.

Why do most people give up on their goals when someone tells them "No?" If I gave up on my goals because someone said no, I would still be working at a JOB I hated, and I would never have found my journey of personal development.

I do not care what people have to say about me and my goals. I absolutely believe that if I have a goal (which I do) as long as I persist then I will achieve them.

Persistence is something you develop, if you truly desire something and you have a passion for it, go after it. You can have anything you truly desire as long as you're willing to pursue your dreams.

The universe will assist you in reaching any of your goals if you let it. First off though you have to have a goal. Do you have one? If not it's time you did, first decide what do I really desire? Then write it down on paper and do not stop until you reach it. You will feel great once you do.

I look forward to seeing you reach your goals.

That is true, when I was very young people criticize the way I played keyboards but it did not discourage me even if it took almost a year before I could really play well I just kept on trying until I proved them wrong. I always remember it when I am faced with a new challenge. That persistence alone could significantly contribute to any achievement.

I stumbled upon a good business site I want to share with you the Young Entrepreneur Society from the www.YoungEntrepreneurSociety.com. A great documentary about successful entrepreneurs.
