Fear Can Cripple You

Fear can cripple you and prevent you from folowing your dreams if you let it. You have to remember that fear is not real, it is just your mind playing games with you.

Fear (false evidence appearing real) keeps people from doing what it is they truly desire. I talked to a lady the other day who was tired of working for the company she was presently working for. She just had a child and was getting off of maternity leave, and did not want to leave her child with daycare. She did not want someone else raising her children and said she wanted to make a change.

Unfortunately she let fear cripple her; and she had all kinds of excuses of why she could not move forward. Fear can cripple you if you are not careful. Our mind starts playing all kinds of games with you, you find yourself asking all these questions:

1.) If you start your own business you might fail. What will you do if you fail? You have a secure
job right now where you paycheck comes every two weeks (or whenever you get paid)

2.) What will my family think to have this dream to leave my 9-5?

3.) I have never been an entrepreneur, how will I know what to do?

4.) People always want to know how am I doing? Am I making money. (I have never
understood this question.) For the simple fact, how I am doing has no reference to how
someone else will do. If you have persistence and motivation then I believe you can
succeed in whatever you do. You can not and should not base your decisions on how
someone else is doing in life.

5.) It costs too much money to start a business. We all know that starting a business is going to
take a little bit of start up money. Depending on what kind of business you start. If you are
not ready to invest your time or your money; then maybe it is best you remain an employee.
(I can tell you this it does not take any money to make money from my blog.)

So remember next time you are looking at following your passions "fear can cripple you " if you choose to let it. The hardest part to anything is making the decision to move forward.

Once you make the decision it gets easier, it just takes follow through. If you follow your desires that you are passionate about then it will not be difficult to have the follow through. Hope this helps you have follow through with what you are passionate about.
